How to Use For Optimal Results

Begin applying CoolBIO when water temperature falls below 60°F in late summer or early fall. Also apply when prepping the pond for spring as water begins to warm.
Confirm that no ice is present on the pond surface before applying.
Drop one pre-measured packet directly into the pond or filtration system — no measuring or preparation needed. The water-soluble outer layer dissolves on contact with water.
For monthly maintenance (fall/winter): add one packet per 1,000–5,000 gallons once per month while water temperature remains between 35°F and 60°F.
For faster results or heavy organic buildup: apply one packet once per week until the desired result is achieved, then resume monthly maintenance dosing.
