DetoxMAX+ is designed to condition new water before fish and plants are exposed to it, making it especially useful during new pond fills, water changes, clean-outs, and routine top-offs.
DetoxMAX+ instantly neutralizes chlorine, chloramine, and heavy metals found in city tap or well water. It also binds ammonia and adds slime coat protection to support fish health and reduce stress when ammonia levels are elevated and during transportation, quarantine, pond clean-outs, or the introduction of new fish.
For new ponds and clean-outs, apply DetoxMAX+ at the recommended dose while the pond is being filled. Fish and plants can be added 20 minutes after the pond water has been treated. For established ponds, use the recommended rate when adding new fish, when ammonia is too high, during water changes, or when refilling water lost to evaporation.
For even distribution, shake well and apply DetoxMAX+ in the area of the pond with the strongest circulation. Always determine pond volume before dosing and follow the current product label. Do not use other chemicals while treating with this product.
