PondMAX Staple Growth Fish Food is intended as the primary daily diet during warm months. With a minimum crude protein content of 38%, it provides the amino acid intake that koi and goldfish need during the active growing season, when metabolism and appetite are at their highest.
The formula includes fortified vitamins to support overall health and immune function, along with probiotics that aid digestion. Better digestibility means that more of each pellet’s nutritional content is absorbed rather than passing through as waste — which reduces the nutrient load entering the pond.
The 3.5mm floating pellets are slightly smaller than those used in the Color Enhancer formula, making them accessible to a wider range of fish sizes starting from around 3 inches. Floating pellets keep fish at the surface during feeding, which allows you to observe appetite, body condition, and any behavioural changes that might indicate health issues. When water temperature drops below 60°F, transition to PondMAX Spring & Fall Wheat Germ Diet. Made in the USA with fresh ingredients.
