PondMAX PV Series Mag-Drive Pump is a compact, energy-efficient recirculating pump designed for fountains, small ponds, and water features. With a magnetic drive motor, built-in flow adjuster, ceramic impeller shaft, and a large pre-filter screen with sponge included, the PV Series is built for low-maintenance, quiet operation. Multiple hose connectors allow flexible plumbing connections, and an optional external pre-filter can be added via the threaded intake to further reduce cleaning frequency. Three models from 250 to 550 GPH.

PondMAX Pond & Fountain Pumps are suitable for fountains and other water feature applications. The pumps can be used in submersible applications and offer a robust and compact design, making them ideal for fountains or smaller water features.
For your convenience, a built-in flow control is provided on the front filter screen. This can be used to adjust the water flow if the flow is too fast for a particular installation. These pumps are mainly used in clean water features with no debris.
Your pump has a single moving part (an impeller), enabling easy cleaning and maintenance. The robust impeller design and ease of access make regular cleaning straightforward. The threaded inlet makes it easy to connect an optional PondMAX SP250 Submersible Pre-filter for additional pre-filtration and pump protection, particularly when used outdoors.
The motor is totally encapsulated in epoxy resin, ensuring safe operation under water. Your pump is magnetically driven and relies on water to cool and lubricate it. Therefore, no harmful oil or grease lubrication is required.
PondMAX Pond & Fountain Pumps are continuous rated and are designed to operate 24/7. The pumps are designed for ponds, fountains and other freshwater features. Do not operate the pump without water, and clean the pump regularly to prevent restrictions and overheating.
An optional fountain kit can be purchased and fitted to models PV250–PV550. When using a fountain kit, it is strongly recommended to purchase an optional PondMAX SP250 Submersible Pre-filter. This assists in straining particles in the water and helps prevent fountain nozzles from becoming blocked with debris. Fountain kits and the pre-filter are sold separately.
