This compact, high efficiency in-pond biological pre-filter is very effective in assisting mechanical filtration and biological breakdown to ensure a cleaner, and healthier pond.
It is easy to install as it comes complete with the adaptors and pipe to connect to common fountain style pumps. To ensure crystal clear water in your water garden, you may require the addition of an PondMAX UV Clarifier unit suited to your pond and pump size.
Benificial pond bacteria is also recommended for use with this filter as it will assist the high efficiency media spheres in breaking down organic waste.

INSTALLATION
• Remove the PondMAX Biological Tray Prefilter from the packaging and screw the threaded adaptor (with the hosetail end that fits the anti-kink tubing supplied) into the end of the filter system. Attach the anti-kink tubing to this adaptor.
• Turn off and disconnect pump plug from the electrical power source. Remove the existing pre-filter cage and sponge from your fountain pump (if applicable). Now screw in the threaded adaptor that suits the threaded inlet on your pump.
• Now attach the hosetail section on the threaded adaptor (you have fitted to your pump) to the other end of the anti-kink tubing attached to the new filter unit. Now submerge your pump back in your pond in a suitable location to ensure easy access for routine maintenance. Your installation is now complete.
